Building breath-ability, is a term often misunderstood and/or miss represented. What does it mean if a wall or building can breathe? We try to dissect the meaning, and break down why air tightness in your wall system is important for many building loads. Impacting our building envelope are enclosure loads, and the only way to combat these loads is with control layers. Air tightness plays a key roll in dealing with all the loads that impact building performance. A video to help people understand the layers in a building envelope to help deal with the loads of water, heat, air, vapour, sound and fire in some cases.
