Air Tightness is a number game, and in this video we talk about some of the little things that add up to air leakage in quite a detailed home, that paid careful attention to the details to improve insulation consistency and air tightness.

Same builder 12 years later, what has changed? Air tightness – in this video we compare a newly constructed home with an older home, where energy efficiency was always at the top of the list.

Air tightness the missing piece of previous generation homes. Air tightness being recognised as a key component to manage building longevity, better air quality, and better performance in maintaining comfort. In this video we compare a modern project, which has endeavoured to create a better high performing building envelope, compared to one that had more emphasis on positioning, double glazing and insulation consistency only.

Fireplace draughts/chimney air infiltration can easily be the single largest contributor of air leakage in homes throughout the world. Next in line would be evaporative coolers and then exhaust fans without draft stoppers. Anyway, this is a quick video, that helps people grasp just how leaky fireplaces can get, and gives people a good start to improve the overall performance of their building envelope for heating and cooling. In this video we blower door test a building with and without the fireplace isolated.
